HIGH QUALITY DAC AT ITS HEART

With twin BurrBrown 1795 DACs (Digital to Analogue Convertors) at its heart, the Teac UDH01 is a first class DAC in its own right. Use either optical or coaxial digital inputs and hear the difference from your old or low/mid spec digital source. With so many products from CD players to TVs coming with a digital output these days, the number of sources you can improve the sound of is vast. Once connected, the twin DACs will provide a broad and expansive sound, full of detail and realism that's in a different league to most built-in DACs.

ASYNCHRONOUS USB INTERFACE MAKES IT IDEAL FOR USE WITH COMPUTER AUDIO

In addition to the more conventional coaxial and optical digital inputs, the Teac UD-H01 also features an asynchronous USB interface. Connect to your PC or Mac and stream music from it at very high quality rates. In fact, with the potential to stream at 192 kHz, the resulting sound from PC/Mac audio could be much higher than either CD or SACD.

DEDICATED HEADPHONE OUTPUT

Thanks to its dedicated headphone stage, the Teac UD-H01 is much more than simply a DAC; it's a complete personal audio system in miniature. Using its own high quality amplifier with a dedicated volume control, the UD-H01 is capable of driving headphones to an ability that most soundcards simply can't match. Compared to most standard headphone sockets you'll notice enhanced dynamics with a deep, powerful bass able to do justice to high performance headphones.

TEAC REFERENCE QUALITY

Everything about the Teac UD-H01 suggests quality. Inside, there's a Toroidal power supply. This type of transformer isn't cheap but offers higher efficiency, lower noise and greater dynamics than inferior designs. Externally, the solid, metal casing boasts an aluminium front panel and curved edges for sleek, good looks.
