ผมฟังจากที่เล่ามา ผมว่าแผ่นแท้นั้นทำท่าจะคุณภาพการเขียนคงไม่ได้เรื่อง อาจจะเบิร์นลายข้อมูลไม่ชัดเจนพอที่เครื่องจะอ่านได้ ในขณะที่แผ่นไรท์ เขียนร่องได้ลึกกว่า 555 (ผมเดามั่วๆๆๆ)

แผ่นเขียน ใช้แสงเข้าไปเขียนให้เป็นรอย
ก็ต้องเคลือบบางกว่า เพื่อให้แสงทะลุเข้าไปเขียนได้ง่าย
แล้วก็เขียนด้วยสปีดค่อนข้างเร็ว
น่าจะแม่นยำน้อยกว่า หัวอ่านก็ต้องใช้แสงที่ความเข้มสูง
หัวอ่านน่าจะเสื่อมไวกว่า

มันกร่ำกลึง ระหว่าง ค่า 0 กับ 1 เครื่องเลยอ่านไม่ได้

กลับกันว่าเครื่องรุ่นใหม่ๆ สามารถอ่านได้ เพราะว่า เครื่องรุ่นใหม่ๆ มีระบบ ควานหา

และปรับความเข้มแสงของแสงเลเซอร์ ให้เหมาะกับแผ่น โดยอัตโนมัติ

ฉะนั้น ถ้าผมคิดต่อ

แผ่นไรท์ ที่ ไรท์สปีดสูง วัสดุไม่ดี ก็คงไม่ต่างจากปผ่นแท้ที่ผลิตมาไม่มีคุณภาพ

แล้วหัวอ่าน จะพังเร็วหรือไม่

ผมว่า ถ้าแผ่นไรท์ หรือแผ่นแท้ ไม่มีคุณภาพ ก็น่าจะส่งผลให้ หัวอ่านพังเร็วด้วยกันทั้งสิ้น

ผมวิเคราะห์ จากที่ว่า เครื่องมันงง ว่าจะ 0 หรือ 1 มันก็จะงงอยู่อย่างนั้น

เรียกว่าทำงานแบบงงๆ ถ้าครั้งเดียวจบ หักแผ่นทิ้งก็คงไม่เป็นไร

เครื่องก็ไม่ต้องเจอแผ่นนั้นอีก

แล้วปัจจัย รอยขีดข่วนเยอะๆ ก็น่าจะมีผลกับอายุหัวอ่าน ถ้า ใส่แล้ว แม้เครื่องจะอ่าน

แต่มีสะดุด บางครั้ง ก็ทำให้หัวอ่าน ทำงานหนักเหมือนกัน

(อันนี้ แผ่นแท้ หรือ ไรท์ ก็มีผลเหมือนกัน ถ้ามันมีรอย)

แล้วถ้าเราใช้แผ่นไรท์ ที่มีมาตราฐาน

ไรท์ด้วย speed ต่ำ เพื่อลดความผิดพลาดของข้อมูล

เล่นแผ่นไรท์ ที่ไม่มีรอยขีดข่วน

เอาแผ่นเข้าเครื่อง แล้วเครื่องอ่านทันทีแบบไม่รีรอ

เล่นกี่ครั้งก็ไม่เป็นปัญหา

สรุปได้ไหมครับ ว่ามันก็ไม่ต่างจากแผ่นแท้ที่ผลิตมาอย่างมีคุณภาพ

เหตุผลคือคำว่า ลด cost ลด cost อย่างเดียวเลยครับ ต้องผลิตออกมาเพื่อรองรับการแข็งขันที่สูงมาก แผ่น CD เพลงสมัยก่อน ผมจำได้ว่ากว่าผมจะเก็บเงินซื้อได้ตั้งนาน (500-1000 บาท) เอามาใช้ยังใช้ได้เลยครับ แต่แผ่นที่มีขายทั่วไปตอนนี้ 2 ปีก็เอามาเป็นกระจกติดท้ายรถได้แล้ว..

โดยปรกติหัวอ่าน CD เวลาอ่านหรือเขียน จะมีลำแสงเลเซอร์ยิงไปที่แผ่น CD ถ้า CD ทำมาไม่ดีหัวอ่านก็จะทำการยิงแสงนานๆ และซ้ำๆกัน ทำให้หัวเสื่อมได้เพราะ แสงเลเซอร์ก็เหมือนแหล่งกำเนิดแสงชนิดหนึ่ง มีอายุการใช้งานครับ แต่ผมว่ากลไกภายในจะเสียก่อนนะครับ 555.
