Made in USA สภาพไม่ค่อยสวย มีริ้วรอยตามการใช้งาน แต่ภายในเดิมๆ อย่างสวย ใช้งานปกติ มีรีโมท

Wadia 15 ถูกสร้างขึ้นเพื่อเป็น DAC รุ่นสูงสุดและ Tribute ให้กับ Robert Wadia Moses ผู้ก่อตั้งแบรนด์ ซึ่งนอกจากจะเสียงดีแล้วยังมีประวัติของรุ่นที่นักสะสมเก็บกันครับ

Wadia 15 ใช้ภาคถอดรหัสดิจิตอลเป็นอนาล็อกตัวท็อปของ Burr-Brown PCM63P-K chips ประเภท R2R จำนวนถึง 4 ตัว พร้อมด้วยภาคอนาล็อกเอาท์แบบ Fully Balanced จริงๆ ให้สเกลเสียงที่อิ่มใหญ่ โอ่อ่า เนื้อเสียงที่ควบแน่น และทรงพลังสมจริง

จากการใช้งานจริง จับแมทช์ทั้ง CD Transport Wadia 20, CEC TL-1x, Stello CDT-200, Lite Audio LT-One, Mark Levinson no. 37
ก็สามารถเข้าคู่กันได้ทั้งหมด ไม่พบปัญหาความไม่เข้ากันได้แต่อย่างใด

The printed circuit board is 6 layers, something very rare in HIFI.

In the Wadia 15 the PLL is digital slave on the oscillator (true vcxo) quartz without any mark (a 18.43 Mhz and a 16.9344 Mhz).

PCM63 K This is the best of the 20-bit DAC produced. Wadia uses 2 circuits per channel. This configuration saves 1 bit of resolution to bring the total to 21 bits.
The PCM63 is not a single reference: there are 3 versions obtained by sorting.
The K (King) reference is the top of the basket with 8 dB better than the standard version! The J (Jack) version is intermediate.
The dynamics of the PCM63 is 110 db for a single DAC (mounts combining several DACs allow to obtain an increase in the dynamics) which represents a "true 20 bits".

And power supply is the second map of the Wadia 15!
5 regulators, 2 diode bridge. It gives a +5V and 2 times +/- 15V. The capacitors are normal, 2 of 6800 μF and 3 2200 μF / 25V. U1 is an adjustable regulator 3A (LM350), and 7815 and 7915.
On the signal board, there are other regulators for the DACs, and ampli of the I / V part and output. It is therefore a dual regulator scheme that is used even if they are banal regulators. The PSSR of the set is sufficient to eliminate all traces of 100 Hz.

The 15 is really a Wadia (it embeds the software digital filter)
