ผมไม่เก่งเรื่องรีวิวนะครับ พอดีไม่เคยได้ฟังเทียบกับตัวอื่นๆเลย ก็ขอยกเอาของฝรั่งมาแล้วกันครับ

How does it sound? Well, to these ears, the answer is 'fabulous': the little orange stick delivers a sound with a presence, power and dynamic freedom I've only encountered with some very expensive digital hardware, and has the bass grunt and control needed to make any rhythm-section-driven music truly exciting.

Detail and definition are a given, and just get more striking the higher the resolution you choose to play, but the real revelation here is how well textures and characteristics of voices and instruments are conveyed, and how well that is achieved while retaining a delicious smoothness and sweetness in the treble.

...Next I listened to a 176.4/24 file from one of the first two new high-res downloads from Wilson Audiophile Recordings, the first movement (Moderato malinconico) of violinist David Abel and pianist Julie Steinberg’s performance of the Enescu Sonata. The violin sounded a little thinner and a brighter than I’m used to hearing through my considerably more expensive dCS Puccini player / Scarlatti Master Clock combo (whose volume, I might add, I control directly from the Puccini, without use of the Parasound JC-2 Halo preamp). Nonetheless, the timbre of the violin on both set-ups was remarkably similar in its openness, with the hiFace DAC’s highs nearly as sweet.

Comparing the sound of the piano, the hiFace made it sound just a little brittle on top, and neither as full and rich in the midrange, nor as substantial in the low end. Images were not as round, and the presentation far more one-dimensional than layered. I was always aware of a very fine barrier between the instruments and me, but it was hardly an impediment to enjoyment.

Nonetheless, the M2TECH’s sound was very, very, very nice. Given the unit’s realistic decay of instrumental sound at the end of phrases, and the overall musicality of its presentation, I sat dumbfounded at how satisfying the M2TECH hiFace DAC’s sound was for $295.

...This time around, the Dragonfly sounded flatter and far less colorful than the hiFace DAC. Instead of open highs, I heard a truncated upper extension, and an overarching gray presentation that favored midrange and bass over highs. Brushes on cymbals were muted, and the piano sounded less alive.

...What’s most important to note, however, is how musical the M2TECH hiFace DAC sounded. Even against equipment costing well over 100 times more (when you count in the cost of all the cables, the price difference gets even sillier), the hiFace DAC held its own.
