น่าจะเป็นตัวนี้ครับที่ว่าจะเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ เพราะ Wizard บอกว่าข่าวรั่วไหลออกไปก่อนที่
จะมีการประกาศเป็นทางการ เลยมีคนสั่งไปหลายคนแล้วครับ แต่เขาบอกว่าเขาโชคดีที่เตรียม
ส่วนประกอบต่าง ๆ ไว้พร้อมแล้วจึงสามารถรับคำสั่งซื้อได้ทันที

Very early first impressions... These are good, very good! I'm using them with Comply T400 and Ts400 so far (still trying to figure out which foam tips are the best for them, among my collection). The sound is great. Big and powerfull bass, and yet very balanced and detailed mids and highs. I quite like this sound signature. I'm sure this aren't be the most "acurate" IEMs in existance, but Heir has other models in their catalog to fullfil that need. These are musical and fun, but detailed (enough for me, at least), and I like this sound signature a lot! Now I'll take some time to enjoy them and I'll update my impressions later...

AFAIK, the 3.Ai has a kind of V-shapped sound signature (I never heard them, just what I read). The 5.0 has nothing of that. It has a kind of big bass/sub-bass with strong punch, but this bass doesn't bleed into the mids or overshadows them. It's there, very present, but in it's place, where it should be, letting the mids take their place and focus. Since I never heard the 3.Ai, I don't know about it's highs, but I also have the impression they should be more agressive...

First, this 5.0 model doesn't have a custom equivalent... Now, in my case, I really wanted the Heir's 8.A model, but never even tried any custom before, so a big question for me was also if I would like (and be able) to use customs. Then, there's the price and re-sell value, which the universals are better. And mostly, the ease of use, as I reckon a universal is easier to use (put on and take out) than customs. As I only use them at home, the isolation advantage the custom may have doesn't apply in my case. Other advantages for universals are that you don't need to make ear impressions, and now that you have a UK office from Heir, you'll be able to buy their "generic" products without any extra costs from import duties and taxes. So, once I knew there was a new universal model coming out, that had a similar sound signature to the 8.A with a lower price, I knew the 5.0 was the one I should go for...

This is Heir's first universal-only model (besides the Tzar 90/350), and is basically the same sound signature as the 8.a.



The uniqueness of this product, along with the price point is very attractive.


Also, if I decide to upgrade to a sweet set of 8.a's in the future, I can resell my Universals for a decent amount and put that money towards upgrading. Heirs seem to really retain their value :)



I also want to be able to share them with my girlfriend and/or friends, and maybe convince them to pay for some Heirs
